The LWV Falls Church will have a table at Civic Jam, a new event being held in the City this year (see overview below). We will distribute information about voting, the upcoming primary and general elections, and League membership. We will also have our popular "Spinner Game," which gives kids an opportunity to win prizes by answering questions about civics. (Grown-ups can also try their hand at questions on the US Citizenship test!)
As part of the country's Semiquincentennial or 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, the City of Falls Church is celebrating our diverse community and civic engagement at Civic Jam!
There will be no fireworks at this event.
Free, no registration required.
Dance, jam, and enjoy live music that highlights the City of Falls Church community and experience! Connect with the many civic groups and nonprofits that serve and do good in the City of Falls Church and enjoy delicious local eats, a beer garden, and classic summer fun to round out the evening for all ages.
