The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, with ballots including the offices of US Senator (6-year term) and US Representative for the 8th Congressional District in Virginia (2-year term) as well as three amendments to the Virginia constitution. 

Early Voting for the General Election begins Friday, September 18, and ends Saturday, October 31. All registered Falls Church City voters are eligible to vote in this election. Students who will be 18 years old by the General Election on November 3 may register and vote in this election.

Deadlines:

• Register to vote/Update registration: Friday, October 23, 2026

• Apply for ballot to be mailed to you: Friday, October 23, 2026, by 5:00 pm.

• Election Day: Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls are open at your assigned polling place, 6:00AM to 7:00PM.
